Privacy
Last updated September 10, 2026
Nothing on stationchief.dev writes a cookie, and there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. If product analytics is enabled, it runs cookieless — state is held in memory for the length of the page visit and is gone when you close the tab.
When enabled, we record page views and clicks on links into the product app. We do not record session replays, we do not use autocapture, and we collect no personally identifying information. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are honoured — if your browser sends either, no measurement script loads at all.
If you arrive from a campaign link carrying utm_ parameters or a click identifier, those values are forwarded onto links into the product app so a signup can be attributed to the campaign that produced it. Nothing is stored on your device, no cookie is set, and only links to our own application are ever modified.
This policy covers the marketing website. Data collected from AWS accounts connected to the product is configuration metadata only, is isolated to your organisation, is hosted in US regions, is never used to train any model, and is retained for a period you set. The permission model that enforces this is described on the Security page, and the CloudFormation template that grants it is published.
StationChief is operated by Critical Technics, LLC.
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
